At first glance this place is absolutely stunning, after a ten days you start to see a couple flaws. Staff and service 10/10, the view 10/10 - we got the two bedroom villa. The breakfast is a 3/10 at best and the sands restaurant 5/10, with saffron for 7/10. They need to hire a full time host at breakfast with two guys on the juice and coffee station with the influx of guests bombarding the restaurant. I think they are about a decade behind on plating. The sad little omelettes come with a ketchup squiggle and a carrot every morning. I would recommend eating just outside the hotel. The food is literally one tenth of the price and much much better. Again, staff and view/villas are great. Owner needs to put some attention to detail and do a full food overhaul.

This hotel is such a perfect place for couple to escape from the spinning world! The villa is in the right and proper size. Stunning,I would say. Moreover,I was very impressed with the security team,house staff members,receptionists and ladies at the breakfast and lunch restaurants. They all looked after us like king and queen with fully respect and cared. The beach is very private and peaceful. The spa is extremely nice and very relaxing. Food and drinks are amazing,too. I will never forget this amazing experience and will visit again.

A magical place indeed! Stayed there for three nights and really enjoyed every single night! We booked the Hill side villa and worth every penny spent! The service is exceptional and we had Beauty as our guest relation manager and she was just amazing. They have great attention to detail and I truly believe you can’t go wrong with this place. Few things that can be done better: Despite the villa and its location is just wow…the rooms do not feel warm and neither do they reflect the island vibe like the Four Seasons does for example. They feel more of a city like design which happens to sit on a cliff and a view of the sea and the little jungle. As for the breakfast, most options are Thai / Asian cuisine. While it is yummy, I do feel it can be seen as a heavy option for people coming from abroad from places outside of east and south east Asia. Therefore, a wider variety would have been nicer. Overall, great place and highly recommended!

Best hotel we have ever stayed in. Beautiful location with private beach, and a private pool in each villa. The villa was luxurious, and the staff were attentive. Food had a great choice with 3 restaurants, a really good breakfast, and there are restaurants just outside the hotel. We had a fantastic week at the Banyan Tree.
